Student and Faculty Governors join the Board
Jeff Vandenberg — Student Governor
Jeff Vandenberg, a third-year student in the Honours Bachelor of Commerce of International Business Management program, has been elected to be the Student Governor on Seneca’s Board of Governors. While apprenticing as an electrician, Jeff became interested in the idea of running a business and enrolled at Seneca. He currently continues his studies while working as a Customer Service Representative for Nestlé Canada and is looking forward to representing the student perspective on the Board.
Professor Rashpal Uppal-Assi — Faculty Governor
Professor Rashpal Uppal-Assi, School of International Business and Management, has been acclaimed as the Faculty Governor. During her career, she has worked as a practitioner and consultant with public, private and NGO sector companies driving efficiency in supply chain management and processes. At Seneca, she specializes in Supply Chain Management, Business Communication, Marketing, International Trade, and Operations Management. She also serves several roles within the Supply Chain Management Association. Among the credentials Rashpal holds are an MBA from Athabasca University, an International Business Administration Diploma from Seneca, a Certified Supply Chain Management Professional designation and a a Certified International Trade Professional designation. She also intends to pursue a PhD in entrepreneurship with a focus on international innovation, design and strategy at the University of Leicester.
