Professor’s photography featured in magazine
David Turnbull, a professor in the Corporate Communications program, spent time over the summer on his other passion—photography.
A series of his photographs appear in the September issue of The United Church Observer, including the cover (pictured here). The publication sent him to Saskatoon to illustrate a story on the future of the church. Using a technique he learned from his students, David had delegates at a conference use a chalkboard “speech bubble” to write down their thoughts and pose with them.
The United Church Observer is the oldest continuously published magazine in North America and the second oldest continuously published magazine in the English-speaking world.
The publication covers issues relating to faith, justice and ethical living.
