Learn more about the Syrian refugee crisis
As part of the Make a Difference fundraising events on Thursday, a special talk by Chris Houston, from Médecins Sans Frontières/Doctors Without Borders, will be introduced by David Agnew, Seneca President at 12:45 p.m. in the Lower Kaleidoscope Room (S1209).
Chris worked in North Syria last year and will speak about the humanitarian crisis in the region. The presentation will also features several short videos on the situation.
The Make a Difference events, held at Newnham and Seneca@York campuses, will raise awareness for Médecins Sans Frontières/Doctors Without Borders and support the relief effort for Syrian refugees. Donations can also be made online.
