National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women

In recognition of the National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women (December 6), a number of activities will be taking place on campus to raise awareness about gender-based violence in Canada and around the world.

From Friday, Nov. 25 to Wednesday, Dec. 6, visit the following areas to view a series of displays, information booths and interactive activities to show your support:

  • King Campus – Main Lobby
  • Markham Campus – Atrium
  • Newnham Campus – Minkler Atrium
  • Seneca@York Campus – Cafeteria

Established in 1991, the National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women marks the anniversary of the murders in 1989 of 14 young women at l'École Polytechnique de Montréal. More information.
