Construction at Newnham Campus this summer
Construction crews have begun work on improvements to the Don Mills entry road. During the summer, the roadway will be replaced, bike lanes will be added and sidewalks improved.
A portions of Parking Lot 1 (shown below in yelllow) will be used by the contractor to store equipment and materials.
Starting Monday, July 13 a portion of the Don Mills Entry road (shown in red stripes) will be limited to two lanes, with those lanes alternating as work is completed. During this time, personnel will be directing traffic.
Parking Lot 3, which is used by employees on weekdays and Continuing Education on evenings and weekends, will be closed until late August for maintenance and re-paving.
Parking space on campus will be limited this summer as many of the lots will be used for different functions during the day and summer camps. This construction, combined with the Don Mills entry road project, will mean that getting into and out of the campus, and finding a place to park, will be challenging. Please be patient and follow directions in construction areas and from parking ambassadors.
Project times are weather contingent. The College regrets any inconvenience this project may cause.
