My.Seneca/Blackboard Essentials

Prepare your My.Seneca/Blackboard course(s) to meet the minimum requirements. We’ll introduce you to the Grade Centre and review the most common features of Blackboard you can use to organize your course(s) and help students learn.

Classroom Essentials

The session includes a brief overview of the Seneca teaching and learning context, with a focus on lesson planning. Faculty will analyze their resources (outlines, learning outcomes, topic lists, addenda and topics) to determine how to best use their classroom time, and will focus on lesson planning to meet course learning outcomes.

Course Copy for Semester Start-up

Learn “hands on” how to copy an existing My.Seneca/Blackboard course to a new semester/section and edit the new section to prepare for the new semester.
