Together: An exhibition on global development
Coming to Newnham Campus October 12 and 13
The Aga Khan Foundation Canada (AKFC) travelling exhibit on global development is coming to Seneca.
Called Together (video and website), the exhibit is an innovative and multi-sensory experience designed to spark conversations about the role that Canadians can play in reducing global poverty. Its goal is to engage students from all fields of study in discussions and workshops on key development issues.
Together is travelling across Canada; Seneca was chosen as a location due to our work with the AKFC and the University of Central Asia.
The free exhibit will be at Newnham Campus on Wednesday, Oct. 12 and Thursday, Oct. 13 outside Building F from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Workshops will also be held in Room D2014 focusing on the themes of global citizenship and international development. To register, which is recommended, please visit the Together workshop web page.
Wednesday, Oct. 12 – 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Thursday, Oct. 13 – Noon to 2 p.m.
