Sting capture gold in curling

Kim Headley (Lead), Courtney Mabee (Second), Peter Cadorin (Head Coach), Kendra Pierce (Vice) and Stephanie Vanhuyse (Skip) capture gold in the women’s OCAA Curling Championship

The women’s curling team won the annual Ontario Colleges Athletic Association Curling Championships.

Seneca and the defending champs, Fanshawe College, tied as the top two teams in the round robin standings, ultimately advancing both teams to the gold medal game. The Sting captured the title with a 5-4 win.

Second-year lead, Kim Headley, pictured above, was also named a women’s first-team all-star.
