Students in Semester 1 need to select a a Liberal Studies Option to your timetable. Please visit the site the English and Liberal Studies website for more information.
The OneCard is the official Seneca College identification card. It is required for classroom and clinical activities. Be sure to have a professional appearance when you have your picture taken. This is the picture that you will wear in clinical practice. Tell the OneCard office that you need a “clip on” version of the ID card to wear in the Nursing Resource Centre and clinical placements.
If you have attended University before and would like to apply for transfer credits, please visit our Credit Transfer site for more information. You can only transfer degree level credits for your PSY113, PSY114 or for your two LSO’s. You cannot transfer any professional Nursing courses. The deadline to submit Transfer Credit Requests for fall term is Wednesday, Dec. 8.
Textbooks can be ordered online or at the King Campus bookstore.
All students in the Collaborative BScN program are required to wear the standard navy blue uniform – Set 323/312 or Set 310/307. Uniforms are available at the King Campus Bookstore. Uniforms are required for all classes in the Nursing Resource Centre.
First day of classes
Wednesday, Jan. 17
- Refer to Student Centre for your timetable. You have been auto enrolled in your required nursing courses.
Clinical Preparedness Permit
Must be completed, including screening clearance, no later than Tuesday, July 31
- A Clinical Preparedness Permit (CPP) ensures that students have met certain requirement prior to entering their clinical placements in Semester 2. It is the student’s responsibility to ensure that all necessary requirements have been met. The CPP includes medical and non-medical components and certification requirements. These are mandatory requirements for all practicum courses in the program. Please review the CPP Guideline.
