Fee Payments

Important: Payments made at a Canadian Financial Institution will take up to 5 business days to be processed. Online payments can take up to 24 business hours to be processed. Payment can be confirmed in Student Centre.

Domestic Students

If you are a domestic student you must pay a non-refundable deposit of $500.00 for the Academic Session (September - August) to be eligible to enrol in classes.

OSAP Applicants:

Students who have applied for student loans (OSAP) must also pay the non-refundable enrolment deposit of $500.00 to be eligible to enrol in classes. Students must first enrol in classes in order to receive OSAP funding.

International Students

International students who are starting Semester 1 of their program must pay full fees no later than the due date noted on their invoice.

If you are a returning international student who is entering Semester 2 of your program and you are experiencing financial difficulty, a minimum enrolment deposit of $3000.00 is required.

Payment Methods

Starting May 1, 2017, Seneca will no longer accept cash payments for tuition and ancillary fees.

Please Note: Personal cheques and Visa Debit are not accepted.


Credit Card Payment (Visa, MasterCard, American Express):

Online: On Student Centre: Log into Student Centre.

Online Banking: Set up Seneca on your list of “payees”. Your account number is your 9 digit Student ID number.

Canadian Financial Institution:

With a teller or at a bank machine. Bring your 9 digit Student ID number. For your records, be sure to have the teller stamp your invoice, or retain a copy of the transaction slip.

Telephone: Call us at 416-493-4144 ext. 22800. Provide your Student ID number, program of study, and credit card information.
In Person: Go to the Registration & Records Department of any of our 4 main campuses (Newnham, Seneca@York, Markham, King).

  Debit Card Payment:

Withdrawing From a Program

  • Students who submit a notification letter or a Request to Withdraw from a Full-Time Program form by the 10th day of classes, will receive a tuition refund. A portion of the tuition will be retained by the college to cover administrative costs, including late payment and payments deferral fees.
  • Students who withdraw after the 10th day of classes are not entitled to a refund, and are required to pay any balance of fees outstanding for the semester.
