Work Study

Work Study is a needs‐based employment opportunity program that applies to students (Domestic and International) in full‐time attendance at Seneca, who are in good academic standing to work on campus. Students are encouraged to find their own job opportunities by checking Seneca Works and by dropping their resumes to different departments in the College.

How do I apply for Work Study?

Once your job opportunity has been secured and per Employer request go on line and fill out a Work Study Plan Application Form, print, sign and give it to your prospective Employer. Please note: Incomplete forms will be placed on hold and this may cause a delay on your approval and employment opportunity.

How much can I work? How much will I earn?

Salary and schedule(not to exceed 24 hours) will be up to your employer at Seneca.

I have applied for the work study program, when will I know if I have been approved?

The Financial Aid Office will let your employer at Seneca know if you are qualified, placed on hold, or denied.

I was approved for work study last year; do I have to re‐apply again this year?

Yes. You must submit a new application each year in order to be considered for Work Study.
