Grade Point Average (GPA) Calculation:

Where appropriate the GPA is reported in two ways at the bottom of the transcipt, "CURRENT" for each semester the student was enrolled and "TO DATE", cumulative for all semesters the student was enrolled. All subjects, except those classified as "Non-Applicable to Current Program" are included in the GPA calculation. The GPA is calculated by dividing the total grade points earned by the units of credits attempted.

For example:

SUBJECTS GRADE EARNED GRADE POINT AVERAGE UNITS OF CREDIT PER SUBJECT TOTAL GRADE POINTS
1 A+ 4.0 5 20.0
2 A 4.0 5 20.0
3 B+ 3.5 5 17.5
4 B 3.0 5 15.0
5 C+ 2.5 5 12.5
6 C 2.0 5 10.0
7 D 1.0 5 5.0
8 F or DNA 0.0 5 0.0
TOTAL: 40 100

Grade Point Average = Total Grade Points Earned / Total Units of Credits Attempted

100/40 = 2.50 G.P.A.
