Professor Jo Gomes and her co-researchers Bryan Noble, Nancy Sylvain, Phillip Jang, Maureen Bornbaum, and Alexander Minnelli from the School of Community Services in the Faculty of Applied Arts and Health Sciences, in collaboration with 360 Degree Kids, are conducting a comprehensive needs assessment and feasibility study for the establishment of York Region's first emergency housing services for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transsexual, transgender, gender non-conforming, and questioning (LGBTTGNCQ) youth. The long-term plan is to initiate a symposium supporting LGBTTGNCQ youth in the community. Funder: Seneca College Applied Research Fund (ARF).
