Query-based legal information retrieval system
Clausehound has developed a cloud-based, legal document-drafting product for small businesses, which provides them with a lower-cost alternative to traditional legal providers. They have engaged Dr. Elnaz Delpisheh from Seneca’s School of Information and Communication Technology to advance the company’s query extraction & retrieval technology. Utilizing natural language processing and machine learning techniques, Dr. Delpisheh and her team will develop a well-structured knowledge library of law documents from which the queries will be retrieved. The result will improve retrieval accuracy rates and document parsing times.
