Development of a Cognitive Module to Enable Medical Confidence Workflow
Medical Confidence, a Canadian healthcare navigation provider based in Richmond Hill, ON, has a mission to EMPOWER healthcare consumers so that individuals have information and access to ideal physician specialists when they need it the most. Working with Medical Confidence, individuals use the Canadian healthcare system to its full potential. Embedding cognitive technology and automation into the existing work processes will enable Medical Confidence to operate more efficiently, while utilizing evidence-based systems. Medical Confidence is working with Dr. Sunny Shi from Seneca’s School of Information and Communication Technology to explore and evaluate different machine learning tools and technologies and to design and develop a machine learning module/cognitive system for searching and extracting results from their medical specialist database.
