Caring Starts Here
Compassion, attention to detail, the ability to work well under pressure – Seneca’s Animal Health programs help you develop the skills to succeed in supporting the care of animals through all life stages.
Through a combination of professional education and hands-on training, you’ll graduate fully prepared to take on the challenges in this critical field. You’ll receive hands-on opportunities to care for animals on a daily basis, under the supervision of our experienced staff. Animals are housed in our Animal Health Centre and other facilities to allow training in on-site companion, exotic, laboratory, large and equine animals.
Our curriculum is created using input from our advisory committees, comprised of various veterinary and animal care professionals.
Graduates are eligible to write registration exams for both the Ontario Association of Veterinary Technicians and Canadian Association of Laboratory Animal Science achieving RVT and RLAT status.
