There are several things you should try to do before the school year begins:
- Be sure to complete your Skills Assessment Testing prior to the beginning of the school year. This test determines the level of college English that will be loaded on your 1st term timetable. Refer to your Admissions package about booking an appointment or call 416.491.5050 ext. 26868. Please have your student ID number available.
- Your first term supplies kit, tunic and materials fee must be purchased at the Newnham on-campus EVOLUTIONS SPA, Rm. D3023 on Wednesday, Jan. 6 and Friday, Jan. 8 between 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. This is a mandatory payment which includes your student kit and tunic for $545 (+ taxes) and your first year materials fee of $105 (no taxes). Kit substitutions are not accepted and costs cannot be deferred.
Note: If you are waiting for OSAP please make sure you have budgeted for these expenses and have the funds necessary to make these purchases the first week of classes. OSAP does not always arrive on time but you must have your program supplies regardless of OSAP status. Should you have a problem with this requirement please contact me during the first week of classes.
Evolutions Spa accepts a variety of payment options including cash, Visa, MasterCard and debit which must be in your name and with your signature as validation.
- Please be sure to check your timetable on Student Centre right up until the first day of classes Monday, Jan. 11 as changes may occur. Don't wait until the first week of classes to address any timetable conflicts or concerns as the timing may not allow for any changes.
If you have any concerns about your timetable Program Co-ordinator Rhonda Shupe will be available Academic Advisement Day on Wednesday, Jan. 6. Please come to her office, Room D3008 at Newnham Campus, with your questions or concerns, or call her at 416.491.5050 ext. 26368.
