The School of English and Liberal Studies

The School of English and Liberal Studies provides college students with the knowledge, skills and understanding to fulfil their personal growth and to allow them to participate fully in society. The explicit responsibilities of the School are to develop cultural awareness and communicative competence. Seneca College’s School of English and Liberal Studies is responsible for the general education curriculum across the college and for meeting the province’s mandate with respect to general education.

The School of English and Liberal Studies is also home to the Corporate Communications Ontario College Graduate Certificate, Technical Communication Ontario College Graduate Certificate programs and to the Centre for Professional Communications.
