The Underwater Skills Program has been training commercial divers to meet the needs of the diving industry since 1975.
Graduates from the UWS Program work in every sector of the diving industry including inshore and offshore construction, salvage, inspection and offshore oil and gas exploration and production.
The program includes 34 weeks of extensive training starting in October and ending in June each year with the majority of time spent at the King Campus located just north of Toronto on Lake Seneca. The deep diving portion of the program takes place on Georgian Bay from a 16x9-metre dive barge anchored in 55 metres of water.
