Thank you for your interest in the Underwater Skills program. The purpose of the orientation session is for you to be able to meet the faculty and staff of the Underwater Skills program and to provide you with the opportunity to visit our diving sites, lab and classroom facilities. In addition, during this session you will be provided with important information relating to critical dates, equipment and text book requirements, diving medical examinations and costs that are associated with the program.
The Underwater Skills program is over subscribed, therefore certain selection criteria have been established by the Seneca College.
Selection of applicants is based on the results from the pre-admission test. Testing will be conducted in the areas of English proficiency and mathematics. In addition to these test scores, all selected applicants must meet the admission requirements as published in the Seneca College Calendar. Academic achievement (i.e. grades in pre-requisite subjects or their equivalents) may be used in the seletion process.
Applicants who are unable to attend the information session may make arrangements to write the tests at an approved location (i.e. a school) nearer their residence.
