Applying to SciComm

This year’s Science Communication Summer Institute runs in-class from May 8–19 and online from May 22–June 16. You’ll spend the first 10 days attending classes at our Seneca@York campus followed by two online courses.

Your application should include the following:

  • A completed program application form
  • University/College transcript related to your degree/diploma
  • Your resume
  • A one-page essay on your main scientific interest

Space is limited. Please submit your package before May 5, 2017.


Tuition is $2,600.00 plus ancillary fees for Canadian Citizens/Landed Immigrants. A $500 non-refundable deposit is required upon program acceptance, with the remainder due by May 8, 2017.

This program is NOT funded by the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities, therefore students are not eligible for OSAP funding.
