James Cullingham

In Search of Blind Joe Death — The Saga of John Fahey is having its U.S. television premiere.

The documentary written, directed and produced by James Cullingham, a professor in the School of Media, will be airing July 13 and 19 on the Oregon Public Broadcasting network — a PBS affiliate station.

The film is about the legendary American guitarist, composer and provocateur John Fahey, who is often considered the godfather of 'American primitive guitar'.

Last year, the film received the Platinum Remi Award for best short documentary at the WorldFest-Houston International Film and Video Festival.
