Robyn Thomson, Jordan Kerr, and Leeron Stern will host from 2 a.m. to 4 a.m., Monday to Wednesday, after being selected to be part of the Rogers Radio and Seneca GenNOW internship program.
Since 2013, the internship invests in the next generation of local broadcasters in the most competitive radio market in the country. One of last year’s interns, Kayla Pappaianni, has continued at the station as regular on-air talent.
Rogers Radio and KiSS 92.5 ensure ongoing feedback is provided to the students, creating a unique experience for the interns to work closely with programming staff.
“At Rogers, we are not only committed to putting the best talent on our radio stations today, but we’re equally as passionate about finding innovative ways to support tomorrow’s talent,” said Paul Kaye, National Talent Coach, National Format Director, CHR; and Program Director, KiSS 92.5. “I am excited that another three Seneca students will get their first on air experience with KiSS 92.5 as part of this rewarding internship program.”
