Subject Title
Learning Management System Platforms

Subject Description
This course is designed to introduce students to Learning Management Systems (LMS), and familiarize them with the tools available. The importance of well-designed templates and ease of navigation will be investigated. Learners will develop a module in an LMS platform during this learning experience to demonstrate a key learning outcome.

Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this subject the student will be able to:

1.Articulate the educational purpose of Learning Management Systems.
2. Describe the common aspects within most Learning Management Systems
3. Develop a resource for Learning Management System navigation.
4. Evaluate the effectiveness of various templates used in Learning Management Systems to organize learning content.
5. Develop instructor resources necessary for successful online teaching.
6. Create a course shell in a Learning Management System based on specific course requirements.
