Subject Title
Speaking English Level 2

Subject Description
Students learn to use level appropriate conversational grammar in everyday situations, including reacting and responding within a Canadian cultural context.   Speaking, listening and decision making skills are developed through guided practice, communicative activities and short presentations.

Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this subject the student will be able to:

1. describe activities in the past, present and  future 
2. use plural nouns and countable/uncountable nouns
3. ask questions and give instructions/orders
4. communicate at an appropriate level in spoken English through class activities and active participation

Mode of Instruction
In this subject, students are given a thorough explanation of the technical aspects of language and grammar. Students are taught decision making skills in order to converse and respond appropriately.
