Floral Design and Event Planning

Subject Description
Explore the many aspects of incorporating floral design into event planning. Students learn to create and construct props using the latest floral design techniques.

Credit Status
Non-Credit - Professional development for the Retail Florist.

Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this subject the student will be able to:

1. Plan events incorporating creative floral design techniques.

2. Design creative props for special events.

3. Execute challenging set piece designs for theme events.

4. Integrate floral design into developed props.
