Subject Title
Bridal Bouquets II

Subject Description
Learn how to coordinate gown fabrics and styles with appropriate floral materials and bouquet designs. Discover unique applications for corsages. Participate in the planning and preparation of floral pieces for a wedding, while considering such concepts as colour, location of ceremony, religion, etc.
During this six week course students create beautiful wedding arrangements each week, to take home to enjoy.

Credit Status
Non Credit - One component of the Creative Wedding Floral Design R.O.A.

Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this subject the student will be able to:

1. Create European style wedding bouquets.

2. Design a Biedermeir bouquet.

3. Construct Pomander bouquets.

4. Plan and prepare floral pieces for a wedding.

FWS102 - Bridal Bouquets Level I  or one year design experience

- Design a Christmas bouquet

Mode of Instruction
Lecture, demonstration, individual instruction and assessment, faculty and peer critique.
