Subject Title
IPC-A-610 Certified IPC Trainer Recertification

Subject Description
This is a two (2) day review of the standard targeted for Certified IPC Trainers who require recertification.  Candidates write open and closed book examinations.

Note:  Training is conducted by Celestica in cooperation with Seneca college.

Credit Status
Non-Credit from Seneca.

Industry recognized certification from IPC, valid for 2 years.

Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this subject the student will be able to:

  • Teach students how to use, navigate, locate and apply the criteria contained in the IPC-A-610 standard to the appropriate class or classes of production.
  • Explain the technical content and criteria contained in the standard.
  • Impart information and material required to provide training to others.
  • Teach the Application Specialist level course.

The ideal candidates are IPC-A-610 Certified IPC Trainers requiring recertification to the standard.
Proof of certification is mandatory at the beginning of the class (i.e. Original certificate and official IPC letter of extension, if that was granted.)
