Note Taking Made Easy

Subject Description
Information presented in class often contains he central concepts of a course and the material is most likely to be included in exams. Selecting the right information when listening and note taking will lead to better marks. These important skills can also be applied to taking notes at meetings. This practical workshop will provide tips on how to recall more information through active listening and puropseful note taking.

Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this subject the student will be able to:

* Actively listen for key points made.
* Distinguish between information to write down - and what to ignore.
* Organize notes into an easy- to- remember format.
* Apply survey strategies when reading textbooks.
