Child Care

Seneca offers excellent child care programs at our Newnham, King and Seneca@York (York University) Campuses.

Lost & Found

In all cases of loss or apparent theft, members of the community are asked to inquire about lost goods at the security office: 416.491.5050 ext. 2565.

Please take any found articles, which cannot returned to the owner personally, to the Security office.

Critical Dates

The Critical Academic Year Dates provided are the best available but may vary slightly for individual programs, and are not considered all-inclusive. The College reserves the right to revise or cancel any activity noted, but in this event, every reasonable effort will be made to notify students in advance.

Financial Aid

Financial assistance includes loans and bursaries provided by the federal and provincial governments, as well as scholarships, bursaries and emergency loans administered through the College's Financial Aid Office.

Faxes

Seneca student may access a fax machine located in the Student Services office. The rates for faxing are as follows:

• Local: Free
• Local Long Distance (in Canada ): $1.00/page
• International Long Distance (outside Canada ): $2.00/page
  * These prices are the same for all campuses, and are subject to change

Legal Aid

The Legal Aid Clinic will be held every Wednesday from 2 to 4 pm in the Student Services Office, Room D2000, at the Newnham Campus. Appointments can be made at the Student Services Reception desk or by phoning extension 2925. Each appointment will be for 15 minutes.

For your information, Stan Gershman also holds a Legal Aid Clinic at the Fairview Mall (Don Mills/Sheppard) every Wednesday and Thursday, from 6:00 - 8:30 pm. This is free for Seneca students with a Seneca I.D. Card. The telephone number at the Fairview Legal Aid Clinic is 416.493.0752.
