Seneca’s Fund Development team is committed to an ongoing process of thoughtful cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of donations, sponsorships and grants from the many individuals, corporations, associations, organizations, government agencies and charitable foundations dedicated to supporting Seneca’s students.
The primary responsibilities specific to fund development are to manage, coordinate and approve all resource development activities on behalf of Seneca College as well as document, receive and acknowledge all donations and contributions to Seneca.
We hold that the key factors to the overall success of Seneca’s fundraising campaigns are the recruitment of the best available solicitation teams; the building of a solid list of qualified prospective donors; the maintaining the highest standards of professional management; and excellent presentation of Seneca’s most compelling needs.
We are constantly meeting with stakeholders and the key decision makers in business and government to establish the relationships necessary to keep Seneca equipped with the capital and resources necessary to provide our students the highest level of training and education.
The College ascribes to the internationally acclaimed Association of Fundraising Professional’s Donor Bill of Rights, Imagine Canada’s Code of Ethics, and the guidelines of the Canada Revenue Agency.
