RE: Faculty strike at Ontario’s colleges: No full-time classes running
I am writing to inform you that college professors, librarians and counsellors across the province will be on strike starting Monday, Oct. 16.

That means there will be no classes for full-time programs until the strike is over.

Seneca will remain open and provide as many services as possible to students. Please remember that no Ontario college student has ever lost a year because of a strike. You will have the opportunity to complete your studies.

We will make every effort to ensure our Part-time Studies evening and weekend programs proceed without interruption. If there are any changes due to the strike, students will be contacted directly.

If you are coming to Seneca during the strike, there will likely be picket lines on campus. Please read our picket line information and our Frequently Asked Questions so you will have an idea of what to expect. The Seneca Shuttle bus will be running on a reduced schedule. Check the up-to-date schedule as well as the pickup and drop-off locations.

Updates on the strike will be posted on the academic bargaining website, My.Seneca and our Facebook and Twitter feeds.

On behalf of Seneca, I would like to express that we regret any inconvenience this may cause.
