Welcome to Seneca
Starting in January? We created this website just for you. It has all the information you’ll need to start your semester off right.
Find out about your first day, Monday, January 12 when you will Experience Seneca. You’ll get to connect with your professors, senior students, fellow classmates and find out more about your program and how to be successful in your studies. You’ll also get to familiarize yourself with your new surroundings and attend to some college business like getting your student card, buying your meal plan, and visiting the Bookstore.
Seneca is open early for you to attend to some college business like getting your student card, buying your meal plan, and visiting the Bookstore. During January 5 to 9, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., visit an Ask Me table at your campus to be greeted by an upper year student who can guide you to any help you'll need to be ready for your first day.
Experience Seneca continues well beyond January 12. We’re planning two weeks of interactive workshops and activities designed to introduce you to college services while offering opportunities to have fun with new friends and help you make a great start at Seneca.
There are links to a list of important dates you need to know as well as to the Student Internet Registration and Information System, SIRIS for short, where you can check your timetables and registration status.
New Student Checklist
The start of the semester is a busy time and it's easy to forget a step along the way. That's why we've created this list. Taking care of these items will help you to have a smooth start in January.
