They work with and for higher education to ensure that our world’s future leaders are motivated and equipped to solve sustainability challenges.

World Wildlife Fund (WWF)

WWF is a worldwide, not-for profit organization whose mission is to conserve nature and reduce the most pressing threats to the diversity of life on Earth.

To build capacity, Seneca partnered with WWF to promote a student platform and an employee platform that cultivate leadership towards sustainability and engage our campus communities.

As part of Seneca’s partnership with the World Wildlife Fund (WWF), students have the opportunity to become a WWF Living Planet Leader. This self-guided certification allows students to build skills and experience in sustainability.

Hear from a Seneca student who recently earned a Living Planet Leader certification:

"Sustainability is our future, and to be a part of that is amazing. Leading, learning and working with like-minded individuals is truly special. Becoming a Living Planet Leader shows that even the smallest actions can have such a huge impact on the environment. I'm happy to be a part of such an amazing initiative!"
