This course focuses on the nine knowledge areas within the PMBOK ® Guide and will assist you in preparation for the Project Management Institute, Inc.'s PMP ® exam. Students must have a working knowledge of project management.

PMP Exam Prep


The prerequisite for this course is either considerable experience as a Project Manager or familiarity with the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK®).

This course is intended for individuals preparing to write the PMI® certification exam to obtain either their PMP® or CAPM® designations. In this course, students will review the ten knowledge areas, best practices, and skills that are essential to professional project management. It is most beneficial for participants who have experience working in projects and are generally familiar with the PMBOK® guide. To be eligible for writing the PMP® exam, candidates must have 3-5 years of experience in project management and complete 35 hours of training. This course is PMI® approved and qualifies for the training pre-requisite for both PMP® and CAPM®.
