The public relations writer is an advocate for an employer or a particular issue/interest. Consequently, his or her writing must be accurate and comprehensive. In the discipline of public relations writing, a practitioner devotes 90 per cent of his or her time and effort to planning and 10 per cent to actual writing. In this course, the student will learn to make complex decisions about the information that a message should contain for a specific audience.
