WIR347 - Integrative Field Work Seminar

The fieldwork seminar has a two-fold purpose. First it gives the students an opportunity to discuss their learning experiences in the field with the faculty and each other and to relate them to the academic part of the curriculum.
Second, the seminar is intended to challenge the students to develop professional behaviours, examine attitudes and feelings related to field learning, foster self-awareness, and relate to others with empathy and insight into power differentials between service recipient and worker. This is a process-oriented course that involves group discussion and group problem-solving.
