LIT150 or equivalent knowledge

This course introduces health libraries and discusses the various issues, resources, as well as a variety of features specific to the health library environment.

This course introduces the student to children's libraries, services and issues as they pertain to the public and school library environment.

This course introduces the student to Canadian and Ontario judicial systems and includes details on legal issues. Students learn the basics of acquisitions and collection development for law libraries.

Develop an understanding of library cataloguing using RDA rules for creating descriptive catalogue records using the RDA Online Tool kit. Use MARC coding and ISBD punctuation for cataloguing bibliographic records in an automated environment.
