Registration Information

Your decision to enrol as a returning or new student in part-time studies at Seneca College is one that will provide lifelong benefits. Unlike full-time studies, application to a program is not required (unless otherwise specified). Simply choose the course(s) within a program or the individual course(s) in which you are interested, and register. Before you register, however, please ensure you meet the standard registration and English proficiency requirements, as well as prerequisite(s) for your course(s) of choice. Registrations will be accepted up to and including the third scheduled class of the course and are subject to space availability.

Standard Registration Requirements:

To be eligible for registration you must: be 19 years of age or over (a mature student) OR have completed Grade 12. Some personal development subjects are exceptions. International students (those who are not Canadian citizens or permanent residents of Canada) must obtain permission to register from Government of Canada; international student fees will apply.

English Proficiency

All courses are taught in English. All classroom participation, writing and testing is done in English (except in specifically listed Modern Language courses). Therefore, to ensure academic success it is important that your English proficiency is at the college level. Whether English is your first language or not, you need to complete an English Assessment to determine your level of English.

Prerequisites are required levels of achievement that must be met before registering in the course(s) you want. Prerequisites vary per course, so please review the requirements. If you lack the prerequisite(s) you may be asked to withdraw or transfer to a more appropriate course with the risk of academic and/or financial penalty.

Online Registration

Please note: Seneca no longer accepts registrations/payments in-person or by telephone. All tuition fees must be paid online. Course fees for international students may vary from the posted rates.
