This course introduces the student to Canadian and Ontario judicial systems and includes details on legal issues. Students learn the basics of acquisitions and collection development for law libraries.
Develop an understanding of library cataloguing using RDA rules for creating descriptive catalogue records using the RDA Online Tool kit. Use MARC coding and ISBD punctuation for cataloguing bibliographic records in an automated environment.
