This introductory course covers creating, editing and printing documents using Microsoft Word. Learn how to make format changes; create tables and insert graphics; move and copy text; enhance documents using tabs, indents and page numbering; headers and footers; and explore Word's proofing tools.
MCW170 or equivalent experience.
Review the basics covered in MCW170 and build on more advanced topics to save time, ensure consistency and design professional looking documents. Learn to create and use templates, format with styles and themes, mail merge, and work with building blocks. Other topics include creating sections, formatting columns and using graphic elements and use macros to automate tasks.
MCW172 or equivalent experience
This advanced course explores Words tools to manage long documents, collaborate with others, and secure documents. Students will create forms for data entry, create master documents, work with document versions, insert table of contents and more advanced tasks.
