Nicole Miron has been selected as valedictorian for Seneca College’s convocation taking place on Thursday, June 23 at 6:30 p.m. at the Newnham Campus (1750 Finch Avenue East, Toronto).

Nicole originally graduated from Seneca in Creative Advertising in 1992. As her career progressed, she began working for Janssen Inc., where she has been for 19 years. In 2000, she began to work in the Human Resources department of the company. It was then that she started contemplating earning her Human Resources Professional Association designation.

In order to balance that with her full-time job and family, Nicole enrolled in Seneca’s Human Resources Management graduate certificate part-time. Taking the program over an extended period of time helped her to focus on what she was learning and allowed her to implement what she learned in the workplace right away. Currently working as an H.R. Assistant for Janssen Inc., Nicole believes completing the program and attaining her certification will make her more marketable as she continues her career.
