Meet the 2011 Valedictorians

Osbert Pinto

Seneca College valedictorian Osbert Pinto, Graphic Design, is shown accepting his diploma from Laura Jo Gunter, Dean, Faculty of Communication, Art and Design.

International student Osbert Pinto, originally from Mumbai, has been selected as valedictorian for Seneca College’s convocation taking place on Thursday, June 23 at 10 a.m. at the Newnham Campus (1750 Finch Avenue East, Toronto).

Osbert has an accounting degree which he earned in his home country of India before working as an online editor and photographer for many years. At the age of 30, he moved to Canada to pursue a hands-on Graphic Design education. While he found Seneca’s Graphic Design advanced diploma program to be intensive, he was impressed with the faculty and the portfolio he was able to build with the real-world projects he completed throughout the program.

Osbert will be moving back to Mumbai in early July to begin his career in graphic design.
