Meet the Spring 2013 Valedictorians

Valedictorian Ekta Tachkani

Ekta, an international student from the United Kingdom, is graduating from the Fraud Examination and Forensic Accounting program. After completing her Honours Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, she decided to advance her career in the specialized financial area of forensic accounting and fraud investigation. She also wanted the experience of studying and staying in Canada, a country full of diversity and vibrant culture. Ekta says the program was exceptional and attributes her success to the encouragement she received from her professors. She plans to study for the Certified Fraud Examiner test and hopes to get some valuable work experience while in Canada and enrol in the Financial Services Compliance Administration program at Seneca in the fall.
