Valedictorian Krista Crevtis

Krista is graduating from the Government Relations graduate certificate program. She says that growing up on a farm informed how she wanted to interact with government and sparked her interest in political science and communications. She has a Bachelor’s in political science and communication studies from Wilfred Laurier University. After taking a year off to experience the working world, she decided to continue her education and increase her career opportunities by attending Seneca. The highlight of her time here was the amazing staff that were invested in seeing students succeed and inspiring them to think differently. She has volunteered several times to speak with incoming students about the Government Relations program and her experiences. With her program complete and her lifelong interest in agriculture and small business as a guiding force, she hopes to land a job at Queen’s Park with the ultimate goal of one day becoming a lobbying consultant for Ontario’s agricultural sector.
