Rachael Ebony Russell

Rachael is graduating from the Veterinary Assistant certificate program. After high school, she attended a year of bible college, followed by taking a semester off to work. She then chose Seneca and the veterinary field because of a life-long interest in science and animals. Rachael appreciates the familiar, community feeling at the King Campus, calling it welcoming and educational. She is now enrolled in the Veterinary Technician diploma program and hopes to have a career in wildlife rehabilitation. In preparation, she is currently working part-time at an animal rehabilitation centre in Newmarket. She is also giving back to the Seneca community by volunteering for Seneca’s student mentoring SMILE program as well as on-campus clubs and fundraising activities for animals.
