Meet the Spring 2016 Valedictorians

Quang Chi Ly

Quang Ly is graduating from the Early Childhood Education diploma program. He first developed an interest in educating young minds in high school while participating in a co-op term at Cresthaven Public School in Toronto. After hearing a number of success stories from friends who attended Seneca, Quang himself enrolled. During his time at Seneca, Quang developed strong friendships with those in and out of his program. Quang’s field placement provided him with the opportunity to create relationships with professional mentors and to gain hands-on experience while pursuing his studies. Quang took advantage of the recreation and fitness facilities at Seneca, often focusing on keeping his body and mind sharp through strength training and drop-in basketball games. Although this part of Quang’s journey at Seneca is ending, he will remain close by as an early childhood educator at Seneca Public School, adjacent to Newnham Campus.
