Kathryn Clare Schramm

Kathryn is graduating from the Fire Protection Engineering Technology advanced diploma program. After obtaining an undergraduate degree in sociology at Macalester College in Saint Paul, Minnesota, and spending four years teaching English abroad, she decided to switch career paths. She chose Seneca’s Fire Protection program because of its excellent reputation in the industry. She excelled academically and was actively involved in the Fire Protection Student Association, giving her the opportunity to work closely with her classmates. Kathryn values the connections she has made through the program and looks forward to maintaining those relationships as she begins her career. She is working in fire and life safety code consulting for a company that hired her part-time during the school year. She was hired full-time by the same company after completing school.
