Annual applied research and entrepreneurship ay Seneca
The annual Applied Research, Innovation and Entrepreneurship Showcase features an interactive, gallery-style showcase in the Great Hall.

April 12, 2018

The second annual Applied Research, Innovation and Entrepreneurship Showcase will take place in the Great Hall at Newnham Campus on Thursday, April 19 from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

The event will feature applied research partner, Angela Johnson, Founder and President of Medical Confidence, as keynote speaker.

As part of the showcase, an applied research panel will bring together Seneca faculty from multiple areas, along with student research assistants and industry/community partners, to talk about their applied research experience at Seneca.

An entrepreneurship panel will highlight the journey of two HELIX ventures, including the impact that the internal and external ecosystem has had, and continues to have, on their success.

The event will wrap up with a celebration of faculty and student researchers and HELIX faculty mentors.

An interactive, gallery-style showcase of 22 applied research projects from across Seneca and 10 HELIX ventures is open to everyone from noon to 1:30 p.m. (no registration required).
