Mani Sarna and Mark Solomon have been elected to Seneca’s Board of Governors (BOG).

The Board of Governors sets the vision and mission for Seneca and oversees the development and implementation of the institution’s strategic plan. For more information, please visit the BOG website.

Student Governor

The new student governor is Mani Sarna. Mani is in the fourth semester of our Honours Bachelor of Commerce – Business Management program. He serves on Seneca’s Student Recreation Council and has worked as an International Student Ambassador and SMILE mentor. Mani will be joining the board on September 1, 2018. Student governors serve one-year terms.

Administrative Governor

Mark Solomon was re-elected and will continue to serve on the board for a second time – administrative governors serve for three years. Mark is the Associate Dean, Student Services and Indigenous Education and leads Seneca’s efforts to respond to, and integrate into our curriculum and services, the recommendations of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission affecting postsecondary education. He oversees student services for both domestic and international students as well as student conduct.
